Week 4 Gala Drive: White Elephant Week! 📦✨

This week it’s White Elephant Week—we want your junk! (Well, your treasure!)

Our school is open all week for item drop-offs. If possible, after 3:00 PM is preferred. We will also have a staff member at the school this Saturday between 10am-12pm for any weekend drop-offs.

Please note: Kindly ensure all donated items are clean, complete, and in good working condition.

A Few Quick Updates:

·       Grocery Baskets: A massive thank you for all the amazing canned, pantry, and bathroom items donated so far! We still have one final basket to fill, so any extra pantry or toiletry donations are still very welcome.

·       Flyer / Mailbox Drop: This Friday, we’ll be handing out Gala notices to our students. We’re asking families to take a small pack of 10 notices to drop into mailboxes in your local neighbourhood to help spread the word!

·       Looking Ahead: Next week is our final push, and we’ll be calling on our amazing school community for BAKING—watch this space!

A huge thank you to everyone who dropped off canned and pantry goods for Weeks 1 and 2—your support is already making a big difference for our Grocery Baskets, but we still have room for more!

This week, we’re moving on to Bathroom & Basics.

Week 3 Goal: Bathroom & Basics

If you are able to contribute, here are some great item ideas:

Body wash, soap, or toothpaste
Shampoo, conditioner, or haircare
Household cleaning products
Everyday toiletries
Drop-off Spot: Please send your item to Mrs. Vincent in the school office with your child.

This week, we’re moving on to dry pantry staples.

Week 2 Goal: Pantry Favorites If you are able to contribute, please send in one box or packet of dry pantry goods this week. Great ideas include:

Rice crackers or snack biscuits
Breakfast cereal
Pasta or rice
Muesli bars or dried fruit
Drop-off Spot: Please send your item to Mrs. Vincent in the school office with your child.

Term 4 Sports
Thank you for your support with our kids sports. 7 teams this term is massive. And a huge thank you to our coaches. We have some gaps - you will be supported by me if you put your hand up to help coach.
Touch starts Week 1, Tuesday 13th October. Springvale Stadium. Generally 4pm games for Year 0-4, 4.35pm games for Year 5-6 and 5.10pm games for Year 7-8.
Junior volleyball starts Week 1, Friday 16th October. Games are played between 3.30pm and 5.30pm.
Senior volleyball starts Week 3, Thursday 29th October. Games are usually 3.45pm for our intermediates.
Facebook Chats are the easiest way to get the draw out each week. As soon as the draw becomes available, I will post them.
Please check the Kindo app for payment requests, as the lovely Mrs Vincent has set them all up for us.
